An advanced LVRT controlled DSCC-STATCOM for reactive power compensation

<span lang="EN-US">This article focuses on the control of STATCOM for improvement reactive power compensation during grid faults and unbalanced load. The problem encountered with convectional voltage source converter based management capacitor balancing are analyzed its operational limitations studied. To remove above problems, an adaptive low ride through technique modular double star cascaded (DSCC) is proposed. In this dynamic control, positive currents negative separately controlled a zero (Vo) sequence inserted active power. This advanced method effectively balances submodule within prescribed limits by managing equal distribution between legs provides faults. effectiveness DSCC-STATCOM, proposed verified using MATLAB/Simulink software-based simulations under single line to ground fault load.</span>
